How to Play Tetris

Arrange falling blocks to create complete horizontal lines. Complete lines disappear and award points. The game ends when the stack of blocks reaches the top of the playfield.

Desktop Controls

• ← → Arrow Keys: Move piece left/right
• ↓ Arrow Key: Soft drop (faster fall)
• ↑ Arrow Key: Rotate piece
• SPACE: Hard drop (instant fall)
• SHIFT: Hold current piece
• P: Pause/Resume game
• R: Restart game

Mobile Controls

• Swipe left/right: Move piece left/right (single move)
• Hold and drag left/right: Move piece continuously in that direction
• Swipe down: Soft drop (faster fall)
• Swipe up: Hard drop (instant fall)
• Tap: Rotate piece
• Double tap: Hard drop (alternative)
• Long press: Hold current piece
• Hold button: Hold current piece
• Pause button: Pause/Resume game
• Restart button: Restart game

Scoring

• 1 Line = 100 × Level
• 2 Lines = 300 × Level
• 3 Lines = 500 × Level
• 4 Lines (Tetris) = 800 × Level

Try to clear as many lines as possible and aim for a high score!
